What happens if I refuse to cancel a sale?

I'm selling a high value item as BIN. Bidder best offered yesterday which I declined then offered higher amount today which I accepted. Have just got a message asking to cancel sale as 'she made a mistake' What kind of mistake can she have made? Ebay asks you to check and confirm your bids doesn't it. She must have realised she was bidding I'm not minded to cancel if she has just changed her mind

Can't see the point of not canceling it and getting it back up for sale. Shes not going to pay you is she.

Thanks DD. I've noticed in her feedback she's done this a couple of times. Is this a way of getting around the non-paying bidder strike? I'm not in a hurry to sell the item Just wondered whether she could leave a neg because I refuse to cancel.

Hmm, not sure. Hopefully someone else will be along soon who understands a bit more about how it works.

you need to cancel the sale to get your final fees back. But if she isn't paying then you could file a non payment case against her instead. And add her to your blocked bidder list too.
