Accidentally sold item for 99p

I have just advertised a baby monitor. I was distracted by DC when listing & accidentally put it on for a fixed price of 99p instead of a starting price. It's probably worth about £35/50 according to completed listings.

Of course it sold within minutes, for 99p.

Would it be acceptable to refund & relist, after contacting the buyer to apologise?

It's worth contacting and asking buyer. If they are ok then you can refund & send a cancellation request. Hope they are nice about it for you.

I would refuse to sell it, i would rather get one negative mark than be £40-50 out of pocket

Thanks, I've contacted the buyer to say it was wrongly listed & have refunded on PayPal.

I didn't specify why, or mention that I've relisted. Hopefully that will mean I don't get a negative; but if so I'll just take it on the chin.
