international posting Russia / Mexico

I have a request to post an item to Russia (on my blocked countries) they want me to send international signed for. This appears to only be tracked in the UK and I am still not sure if it is a good idea to make an exception for this sale or just refuse. It is a nice clothing item.

Someone in Mexico has bought a jacket (I thought it was on my blocked list but it isn't as I have allowed North Ameica without specifying any particular countries - I thought Mexico was counted as Central America)
Person only has 1 feedback and I am not sending unless signed for. I have said P&P will be £14 which for a £22 jacket is a bit much but I have offered to cancel sale.

Any advice about posting to these 2 places please.

up to you but if they are blocked then the buyers shouldn't be bidding so you don't have to sell to them.

Yes the person from Russia can't bid but has sent a message asking me if I will let her bid on the item. I am worried about sending to Mexico to a buyer with only 1 fb. You see that and get a sinking feeling!

Don't do it, trust your instincts. are there any other bidders?

no I wouldn't sell to them. Send a cancellation and tighten your settings

Thanks. I have said no to the Russian lady. I guess there is no point in having a blocked countries list otherwise. She hadn't bid as obviously the blocks do work. I have added Mexico to the list. Nothing against Mexico but the P&P will be high and I'm not sure how secure it is. I have sent the person a message. They haven't paid as they must have been waiting for me to add P&P. I have messaged them so will see how it pans out. Cheers for the advice.

Well the Mexican buyer didn't pay or get in touch... eye roll.
