Bought a used leather jacket, £10 + p&P, pleased with the price. It's arrived today and it's not leather at all. However, I quite like the jacket, but would have preferred it to be leather as described. I opened a case and contacted the seller, and was asked to make an offer for a partial refund. I suggested £5. This has been refused and the seller has said they would prefer to refund me the full amoutn after I return the jacket.

What's your view? I can't really be bothered with packing it up and going to the post office, plus I have to pay out initially for it to be tracked. I'm prepared to pay a little more than £5, or perhaps ask the seller to refund the p&P I paid. Any thoughts please??

I would ask them to arrange a courier to collect the item. They may well decline and refund at least some of the money.

if you like it, i'd just keep it, but leave neutral feedback stating that the jacket wasn't leather.
