I would use courier with full insurance. And keep a note of any serial numbers too. And if someone collects cash only.

Without any games, fully functional, located in the UK & used, they tend to sell for about £300 with postage (most recent 6 I looked at).

So what I would probably do is list it on 30 day buy it now for 300 quid with "free" postage. Under delivery method I would choose "Other 3 day delivery" as the option. I would then scrounge around on Royal Mail & parcel2go websites, maybe parcel monkey too, trying to get best delivery deal with insurance for £249. Because Ebay will take £30 and the delivery charge will be at least £20. So you only need to insure up to 249 really.

The best deal WILL probably change, depending on when you actually order the delivery service. So I wouldn't commit to any particular courier until the item was paid for.

You need to roughly pack it up & weigh it & measure it to know the package dimensions. Pound shops around here often sell luggage weighing devices that will accurately weigh it for you all packaged (assuming your kitchen scales aren't up to the job of weighing it).

Google says < 3 kg all packed which isn't that heavy at all, BUT will that be packaged tough enough to crash down the stairs and not break en route? I tend to be extra careful about packaging.

Make sure whatever delivery service you choose gets a signature.

I would courier with Hermes or one of the others
You can pay extra for the insurance

oops, I just realised you said brand new in package (mea culpa). Check completed listings for that on Ebay and list buy-it-now for what seems like a very optimistic amount. You can revise the amount downwards after 10 days or so if no one buys.
