Retract a bid request

I've just had a message asking for the bidder's bid to be retracted. She misread the size, even though the title, and the description are quite clear. The item doesn't finish for a couple of days, and I have 4 watchers on it. I've looked at ebay help guide, and the reason given is not a valid reason,

Therefore, do I retract a bid, and loose out, or not, and possibly face not being paid, or wait and hope she gets outbid. The difference between her bid and the next lower bid isn't too much, (less than £1), but it's not a high priced item so every penny counts.

Not sure what to do. Please help. Thanks.

I didn't have a choice with mine. Twice recently I have had bids retracted (one was a LOT of money on a very expensive item and I was fuming) but I have just had an email saying the buyer has retracted his bid. I didn't have to do anything - ebay did it. I am interested to know the difference.

Sorry I know that's not much help Blush

yes of course you must retract it - otherwise you risk a non paying bidder, or a buyer who pays and then negs. Much better to retract the bid now, far less hassle. And add them to your blocked bidder list too.
