I just bought a coat that no one else has bid on. The coat looks awful in their ebay photos. Shapeless and dull.

However, I knew which coat this was and got a bargain price. The second photo is what the coat actually looks like!

What a difference. They may have attracted more bidders if they'd used a nicer photo, don't you think?

Totally agree, I always have a double look at bad photos because your more likely to get a bargin!

I've asked dp to take photos of me in all of my maternity clothes whilst I'm still pregnant, as they always look better in a bump than hanging funny on a hanger!

Link for the shop for the coat? It's lovely!!

Absolutely!

I sell quite a lot (vintage furniture, household bits etc) and I find that the difference between photos taken outdoors in full sunlight vs ones taken indoors can easily be fifty to a hundred quid in the final price.
