Hoping for a bit of advice. I have a nice white lined jacket from Next that I would like to sell. Its been worn twice and is in great condition.
What is the best way to present the jacket in order for it to hopefully sell I.e how many pics should I take etc. Any advice would be gratefully received

as many as possible, on a hanger on a blank background, close up with no clutter surrounding at all. Or on a dummy if you have one.

At least 5 pics but more if you can. Include back, front, close ups of any details. As butterfly says a plain background looks best (although I do take some pics outside as my room can be a bit dark sometimes and I like natural light). A white jacket could be nice on a dark background or against a pretty wallpaper but use a decent hanger or dummy.

Put the measurements as well as the size in the description. Try starting your auction at the minimum you want to get for it or check sold items for next jackets and pick a reasonable BIN price.

and if auction end during the evening, and charge sensible postage, not the extortionate amount ebay recommend.

When I sell a jacket I also measure the underarm/ arm pit to arm pit/ and length from neck to hemline then there is very little chance of someone coming back and say the size is wrong for them.When posting I always wrap in tissue paper it gives a good impression to the buyer and as Butterfly said don't use e-bay postal charges too expensive,my charges for a jacket are never more than £3-30p or £2.78 with myhermes tracked,you will learn as you go along best of luck.

Keep any photos you don't use so that if there's a complaint about damage, you can request the buyer sends you photos and then compare then with photos you already have.

Some really great advice thanks. I have a fair bit of experience of selling non clothing but have always avoided clothing as I've seen it can be a bit of a minefield! Will take all the advice thank you
