Are even almost new condition second hand men's clothes impossible to sell on ebay ?

Have shifted loads of kids stuff and lots of mine too but dh's just no takers.

Dh's stuff is higher quality when purchased than mine and the kids and in almost new condition, absolute bargains at 99p per time but after 3 listings have sold only one designer loud patterned shirt and have admitted defeat.

Is it the male ego that prevents them wearing second hand ?

Perhaps it's just a bad time for men. OH has sold a lot of his stuff without any problem in the past.

List them BIN 30 days - some people (I won't generalise and say men :)) can't be bothered with bidding and if they like they just want to buy and receive quickly. You can check of prices sold items that are similar to get a price. I have sold a fair bit of mens items bit but mostly use BIN for them eg jeans £15 - £25 Pick a price that reflects the quality but still seems a good deal. Take good photos.

Free listing days are good for this but you have 20 free each month now. You may need to relist but ok stuff should sell.

It's mostly almost new long sleeved white or blue work shirts, the sort you'd wear with ties.

I can't see any listed so I'm guessing there's no market.

Oh and XL size shorts of the knee length variety, brands like Next, Ripcurl etc.

I sold 2 brand new items, all original tags still attached - a smart casual shirt worth £55, and chinos also originally £55 (I got them very, very heavily discounted through work, but unfortunately they didn't fit DP or Ddad). The shirt sold for £5 and the chinos for £7, both started at £5!
That was around 1-2 months ago. I still made more than I paid for them, but was surprised they didn't sell for more.

Numanoid I would have listed them BIN for around £12-15. I don't sell that much mens but I have sold Paul Smith shirt £15, linen blazer £25, jeans £15 and £25 and a few shirts for around £12, also some vintage ties at around £10. Did have to relist a couple of the shirts twice but they did go. I think it depends if you just want rid of things - I do list them for very low BIN or auction if I want to clear out. I think 1/4 to 1/3 of the price of a new with tags item is stll a great bargain so your £55 items were definitely worth £15. The buyers were lucky and got a good bargain but I guess that is what makes people look on ebay. As I said though chaps just often want to buy not bid so BIN works pretty well.
