Retraction of bids - allowed?

Is this allowed? Got a pram on and it was described as pick up. They've asked if can retract the bid as they didn't realise it was pick up but they live close enough to do so??? Also had a query to ask if would accept a certain amount for it after the time allotted had run out from the same area (said no as would like to get a bit more than starting price). What should I say to them re retraction of bid. Think it's the Same person.

They may have no transport. I'd let them retract the bid.

As for the other, I'd say no.

I think I would block them after retracting the bid, you don't want to deal with them if you don't have to.

Sorry, you let an auction run, there were no bids, someone has offered to buy for your starting price, but you said no because you still think you can get more? Even though nobody bid last time? I don't follow that logic very well.

I advise Only start an auction for the minimum price you want to receive.
