Newbie Starting Out - Books and Toys

DS's reading habits are expensive, even why I buy from charity shops.

He's decided he wants to sell his old books and maybe the odd toy and have a fund for new.

DH sells on ebay but he sells rare models which are around £50.00 minimum.

Any advice for selling lots of low cost books? Is it worth it? I've tried looking to see what stuff goes for but it seems to vary quite a bit.

TIA

really not worth it for books at all unless collectors items/rare. Heavy/costly to post and you can't compete with Amazon really.

That 's what I was going to say.

Toys - branded toys, with all their pieces and on good condition, which are small enough to post at the £3 rate might work. Something like small Orchard board games.

you can send anything up to 1kg for £2.98 with Hermes and that includes proof of delivery.

Might try a boot sale instead.

Thanks for your help. Smile
