Leaving feedback whilst unpaid item case is open

2 buyers have not paid me or replied to messages (it's been about 7 days). Unpaid item cases are open.

Should I leave feedback whilst the cases are open? I'm am pretty sure they aren't going to pay as they are so un responsive.

If I dont leave feedback now will the option still be there once the case is closed? I'm hoping it will be and I'll be allowed to leave negative feedback?

Why do time wasters do this?! Sad

You can't leave negs for buyers. You just have to open non payment case and get your fvf fees back. Don't leave neg comments with a positive either - it's not allowed.

I agree it's a pain. I have someone who hasn't paid too. Actually I looked at their feedback & someone had added a comment about the person not paying on a positive which I found useful tbh but it is better not to add to their positive tally.

Add to your BBL and set your preferences for not allowing buyers with non payment strikes against them.

Another reason for you not to leave fb yet is they might just pay at last minute and if you have made a comment about them on fb they could A. report you to ebay and B. Trash your fb and DSRs.

btw you could try second chance offer to next highest bidder if it was an auction once case has closed. Doesn't always work but it did for me once or twice and saves re listing and waiting for another auction to run.

Thanks for your reply. I tried a second chance offer but they didn't respond although it's worked for me in the past. I'll just re-list the item at a lower price to shift it. Thanks for the too about blocking buyers with non payment strikes - I'll do that now.

you can't neg or leave a neg statement - and you can't do a second chance offer or relist until the unpaid cases are closed - otherwise you risk both paying and 2 buyers for only 1 item.

I sometimes leave a passive aggressive statement in FB, like "Sorry you changed your mind." It might help another seller.
