Likely to get in trouble for ending early?

I listed something as collection only due to the weight and bulk, and stated in the listing that I wasn't able to post, use courier, or anything else, just the buyer collecting. I have had 4 messages asking if people can arrange their own courier and tbh it's winding me up and giving me stressy thoughts, so I decided to cancel the item listing. I just worried that even saying no, the winner would assume I would post. There were no bids, quite a few watchers. I've never done anything like this on ebay, am I likely to get in any trouble or get bad ratings? I was intending to put it on gumtree or local facebook groups instead. Is there any reason not too? Sorry if that sounds a bit daft, but I've read too many horror stories and don't need the hassle.

no you won't get into trouble

try gumtree or freeads instead - and only take cash, never paypal if collected.
