The email I received said first 20 listing free then 35p for each listing after that. So does that's an that the 99p free listing won't be available?

Also if you list as bin you pay the listing fee even if it doesn't sell?

yes I was looking for an email I received in April about this entitling me to free listings each month any time rather than waiting 'til free listing weekends but it seems to have disappeared from my ebay inbox ITMS.

LavenderGreen14 · 11/05/2014 12:38

Private sellers will enjoy:

· Every month you’ll get to list up to 20 items in any category (excluding Motors) for free - these free listings can be in auction or fixed price format and can have any start price

· Every month you’ll get to schedule up to 20 of your listings for free - this means you choose when they go live

· Insertion fees after your first free 20 listings will be £0.35 per listing

^^ that is what it says on the link I posted - so yes it is coming in.

Thanks for this clarification.

Ebay are getting less and less attractive to use.

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 11/05/2014 14:35

Which surprises me as with so many free selling sites i would have thought they'd want to be more competitive.

LavenderGreen14 · 11/05/2014 15:06

maybe most people do only list 20 items or less each month for free.

Ronmione · 11/05/2014 16:13

I don't think ebay really want private sellers anymore, I think they want to become a rival to amazon.

I go through phases where I just loads of stuff then nothing for ages. But I think m stuff which is mainly used clothing and toys won't sell aswell if I increase the price to cover the cost.
