I don't think I ever want to do this again!

Item sold on Saturday. Buyer really slow to contact me, messaged every couple of days to arrange pickup. Paid by Paypal so I refunded (doesn't show as unpaid on Ebay though)

Asked me yesterday if her DH could pickup evening as in area. I agreed and asked a time. No response.

I know you could still class this as evening, but as I've had no reply as to time I'm getting pretty fed up.

Under these arrangements, and assuming they don't come tonight, how long before I can take it up with Ebay?

all you can do is send them a cancellation request and hope they accept or ignore it, otherwise you won't get your fees back. They will still be able to leave feedback.

Okay thanks. Sorry for all the questions but this bit is really complicated!

Do I just contact them and ask to cancel? There isn't a specific category is there? And is it too soon since it ended Saturday?
And I see PayPal has already deducted fees from the refund. Is that how it works?

no - if you refunded via the original paypal payment there are no paypal fees. How did you refund? Did you click on the original payment in paypal and refund from there?

ebay fees are separate - you need to go to the resolution centre and send cancellation request. They have 7 days to accept or refuse - if they do nothing it closes and you still get your fees back.

Yes I did refund in the Paypal transaction.
It shows the total amount, then the fee amount, then the net amount.
So it looks to me as though she's only been refunded the net amount.
It shows as refunded on the £ symbol in the lists though.

Maybe I should have hung on to her money until she turned up!
I've given one more chance - I've sent a message asking what's going on. If I don't hear tomorrow I will take it up with Ebay. I take it the fact I've refunded won't go against me as the listing clearly shows I wanted cash on collection?

similar happened to me recently
I refunded the Paypal
Buyer left a negative and eBay doesn't want to know and I've still not got the fees back

and my listing clearly stated cash on collection
I have found time and time again… listings don't get read properly, or just ignored

Okay, both items for collection only have finally been collected and paid for (problem item had to be cancelled with buyer's agreement and relisted - all sorted)

Now, when I look at the items in my Sold list, they still show as Buyer hasn't completed checkout (I've marked them as Paid) and I can't leave Feedback.

What do I do now?

Scrap that! Does still show as Buyer not completed checkout, but I've already left feedback!!

Does it just stay like that now?
