Have decided to sell some of my baby's clothes and am confused about royal mail postage rates. I have bought a fair few items recently and they have all come with a label on with a random price- anything from about £1.50 to £3.50. All either first or second class. I have been on the royal mail price finder page but all that comes up is £3.20 once you go above large letter for second class. What am I doing wrong please? I want to work out my postage.

Are you entering dimensions? It should give you the options?
I tried to sell stuff second class recorded so no quibbles over it arriving.

I use collect plus for heavier things over royal mail.

I sussed it out. I thought large letter was standard but it seems a lot of the parcels have been coming as large letter but more than 100g so the weight is used in the calculation. I think I've got it now.

if selling small bundles try MyHermes - they cost £2.98 for anything under 1kg - and free tracking so you have online proof of delivery.

Small package should coat £2.60 second standard and£3.00 1st standardSmile

but those are not tracked.

Cremolafoam - you are out of date! Cheapest small package is now £2.80 2nd class and £3.20 1st class after the price rises at the end of March! Sad
