Advice on selling a birth pool?

I've only ever sold a few clothes on eBay before and never made a big purchase either. I have an unused La Bassine birth pool still in the packaging. It comes with the essential kit plus liner, tarpaulin and thermometer. Altogether it cost me £150 and it's totally unused - has been inflated and then repackaged.

Can someone experienced give me some tips on selling a big item like this? What time of day/day of the week is best? I think I'll have to put it up as collection only as it's in a big bulky box and I imagine postage would be very expensive. Would a courier be a good idea?

I don't know realistically how much I might get for it - there are a few up for sale with no bids so it might not go at all. I thought of putting a starting price of about £50 on it. Would I have to pay a high amount in fees for this?

And if anyone has a better idea of where I might sell it if not eBay, I'd be grateful!

end it on Mon or Tues evening, start at lowest you will accept, cash on collection only, 10% final value fees, list on free weekend or wait until 13th May when you can schedule and list for free. Courier you will have to price up and decide - you pay 10% on the p&p fees also. Never let a buyer arrange their own courier btw. Also check completed listings to see what price you may achieve.
