Received a fake... What do I do next?

I've bought a duff jacket. With hindsight i should have realised that it was too good to be true from the listing but I didn't and now I'm trying to resolve it. The seller is refusing to accept it is fake and offer a return/refund, they were immediately extremely defensive and aggressive so that confirms my view they knew it was a rip off.

In terms of what happens next, I've opened a case through the ebay resolution centre - do we know just wait a week for them to review it? can I also raise a dispute with paypal? Any other advice much appreciated, this is the first time in 15 years of happy ebaying that I feel like I've been completely ripped off and the seller has refused to cooperate!

yes - wait and then escalate and return with proof of delivery. You don't need to do a dispute with paypal too. My Hermes or Collect + are better than RM - plus you don't need to pay extra for signature, the online proof of delivery is enough. And make sure you neg the seller and if you want stars to count as low mark them as such.

Thanks ever so much for the feedback, will wait for a week until I can escalate it - presume I attach photos and make my "case" for why it is fake then?
