Returns what do you do?

Following on from my other thread. I wondered what other people do about returns? Are there specific rules on this for private sellers? I have read on here that it is really pointless saying no returns anyway, is this because people have the right to return in any situation?

Although depending on the circumstances, stating No Returns can mean that the buyer has to pay return postage. And that can be enough to deter some returns due to buyer's remorse.

stating no returns is pointless and futile - if they open a case ebay will tell them to return for a refund in 99% of cases. You cannot refuse a return.

That is what I thought but I still see listings that say no returns even on shop listings. Maybe it just stops people from asking to return for changing mind.

yep - well their terms are wrong. Same as sellers who say they aren't responsible for items lost in the post.
