Can I do anything?

I will try and keep this brief. I sold an item on eBay earlier in the week. Auction finished and item was sold to the highest bidder. I had already had previous contact with the highest bidder (questions about item etc) so I knew the gender of the bidder (gender is relevant! !). Anyway item was sent and received and I have an email from the buyer confirming receipt of item. Yesterday I got an email from someone claiming to be the buyer (was a man) saying he was the highest bidder on the item and was using his other ebay account to contact me. (presumably trying to explain why this account didn't match the original one). Then asked me to contact them to arrange delivery and gave me an address to send it to in the email. Now I know this person is trying to scam me but if I report to ebay will they actually do anything?

Also is there any pro forma reporting form or do I go thru customer services?
