How long is acceptable for a buyer to take to come and collect an item and/or make contact after winning a bid? Sold a large fishtank on Thursday and was hoping buyer would collect within a wk, have messages them and still awaiting a reply, thanks

a week is reasonable, but it's only been 2 days & most people would have more time on weekend. You can file non-paying bidder if they don't pay up after 2 days; BUT if they still pay up they can leave f/back and it might be unpleasant if they think you've been impatient.

i make it plain in listing contact within 24 hours pick up by ( normally a week after auction including a whole weekend

unless not replied to any messages it is tricky if you start unpaid and they pay by paypal to remove unpaid case then come and collect they could then claim undelivered so you need to be careful filing unpaid with collection only

Thank you both, still no word! Very frustrating

File NPB at 8pm tonite if they still aren't replying to messages, OP. You've just missed a possible FLW you want this sorted by next weekend.
