I sold a hand-held vacuum cleaner for £15 because I never used it. The buyer has just messaged to say a couple of attachments are missing - which they might be. Just wondering what I should do, assuming I can't find them (I don't think I have ever seen them - one is apparently a wotsit to attach the hose and I have never used the hose so no idea why it wasn't in the box with the others.) I don't want to rip anybody off but I did separate out all the bits contained and photograph them for my listing.
What would you suggest?

I'm no expert but it seems to me that if you've posted off all the items in the photo and description then you've done your part of the bargain. The only way the buyer should have a case is if you've misrepresented it but making out these parts are included.

That's kind of what I think, but equally I would be annoyed if I thought I had bought a complete set but it didn't all turn up.

all you can do is ask them to return for a refund if they aren't happy - if you photographed all the bits then you were not being dishonest.
