....telling my near 6 year old son his singing iggle piggle was being posted off to someone else as he'd outgrown it. He was looking v sad and told me to promise not to send it . Don't think he'll notice but what would u do? All boxed up and ready to go....

Get him a new money box and explain to him that when he outgrows toys they need to be sold to get money for new toys. Put the money in his money box. Use this for his pocket Money too and encourage him to save for things. If you want to sell things and not give him the money then don't tell him. Works for ds3.
