Gallery Plus

What is Gallery Plus, and why does it try and charge me 95p every time I want to list something. I only have one photo per item (kids clothing for 99p) and it's supposed to be free listing this weekend. Can anyone explain it to me please?

an enlarge icon will appear next to the photo in search results so buyers can hover over and see more detail without clicking on your listing - you need to uncheck the gallery plus box otherwise you will get charged. And if it is free listing why not start higher than 99p - not going to make much profit at that price. The whole point of free listing weekends is you don't have to start at 99p - you get 100 free 99p listings per month anyway.

Also try ending listings in the evening, not during the day - will get more potential buyers then. You can schedule couple weeks ahead, then go and edit to go live tonight for free.

As a private seller you can and should do a huge amount to avoid listing fees. Wait for free-listing days and list with short times (like 3-5 days).

I am under impression the free listing weekend may only be for some selected Ebay sellers (sorry!). You may not have lucked out this time.
