I would be suspicious of that excuse as you don't really need a purse to pay via PayPal. I'm not really familiar with selling on eBay though, i have only bought so I'm not sure what your next step is.

It could be genuine because they need to enter a new card or new to PayPal. You could put it up for sale again.

Non payer strike and a second chance offer to the next highest bidder if there was one?

It's never happened to me before but I think that's the procedure. Nothing personal to the bidder who may have genuinely lost their purse, but I think that's what you have to do to get your fees back from eBay.

You say 'I'm very sorry to hear that' and then re-list the item.

LilyBlossom14 · 12/01/2014 16:57

you just file a non payer dispute after 48 hours - is this the buyer who won on Friday and hasn't paid yet? If so the advice on that thread is the same. Don't relist it until you have filed, and closed, the unpaid case.

I have gone through resolution centre said item not paid
As you can do this from 2 days after opening
Hopefully beabke to offer to second highest bidder

don't offer to the next bidder yet - you have to wait another 4 days to close the case first.

They've paid GrinGrinGrin
