Bought a phone on eBay a few weeks ago, not massive bargain but reasonable. Paid by PayPal straight away. Straight after this, got a message from PayPal saying I'd been refunded. Messaged seller asking why they'd refunded. All this within five minutes of clicking Buy.
No reply from them so after over two weeks bought a different phone (because I needed a phone!) and left bad feedback while I remembered.

Yesterday got a message from seller saying someone had hacked his account and been using it to sell phones and could I remove the bad feedback because eBay had been informed and were dealing with it. Looked in his feedback for sold items and this is the only phone been sold by this account, not much other stuff either.

Ignore his request right? Can post his whole message here if that's not a breach of privacy.

if his story is true, eBay will remove your feedback. Sounds very odd to me, but he can always rely on ebay's investigation! Grin

I would ignore - yes. Feedback is your own opinion, whether he was hacked or not is irrelevant anyway tbh. And if he was hijacked ebay will remove and restore his account.

Thanks will ignore him. Seems a weird excuse.
