Can you still offer something to the 2nd highest bidder on eBay?

Sold a top on Saturday and the person still has not paid, not long to wait I know but the person only has 12 feedbacks and everysingle one says non paying time waster!

They bid in the last few seconds of auction as well Hmm

The 2nd highest bidder missed out by 1p and the top is all packaged up and ready to go. I was hoping I could offer it to her for the price she bid rather than going through another auction.

Can you still offer things to the 2nd highest bidder or would I need to wait and file unpaid item etc. really want everything out the way ASAP

I think it's called a second chance offer, it should be in My Ebay next to the item I think!

I've looked there and can't see anything. Maybe it's because I'm on the app. Will try the laptop later.

not yet you can't - you have to file an unpaid case today (48hrs after end of auction), then wait four days to close it if they haven't paid, and only then can you offer a second chance. If you don't do it properly you risk 2 buyers for one item, so you need to file unpaid first.

Ok thank you, it's so annoying as I had so much interest as it's a really dressy top suitable for all this weekends party. Now I doubt I'll get as much interest so less cash which I desperately need. Why waste your time bidding if you never pay Angry
