listing - options to change fonts/size etc

Just listed something and in the description I couldn't change the font/size/colour etc. As I need specs now to read I usually list with a 18 or 24 font size and use Courier font because I like it. Is it just because I listed something in a category I don't usually need (it was xmas decs) or am I missing something? I tried doing it in word and copy/paste but it automatically came up in the default small plain type. Any help appreciated.

Ok I have realised via ebay boards that this has been a fault lots of people have been having. To resolve click on the cog icon on the top right of screen click on compatibility view settings and add ebay.co.uk. This seems to right the problem. No idea of the technicals but worked for me. Good. That was annoying me, thought ebay had brought in a new strict description regime!!

I get this occasionally - remove the cookie for ebay.co.uk (or clear all cookies) and you should be OK again.

Reading your solution, I'm not sure now if it is the same problem or a new one. I don't have a cog icon...

I get this if I list using 'Internet explorer' I have had.to download 'Mozilla Firefox' to be able to list. It is a problem caused by the newest update!

Ah - I use a mac with Firefox or Safari, which explains why I haven't seen this cog icon.

I often have problems when listing on free listing weekends, and removal of cookies solves things 99% of the time.

Yes I do have internet explorer so I guess that was why I had a problem. Thanks for the tech chat!
