More questions from a novice seller. My listing for a scooter only has about an hour to go and I've been asked if I will post the item. Having measured it up I wil post, but how can I charge a buyer postage if it isn't stated in the original listing? Can I add it when the item has sold?

TIA

yes you just send an invoice with the postage added after auction ends. If someone does collect make sure cash only btw.

thanks Sandy. i've ended up with a different problem (?). I didn't end up putting postage as an option on the scooter, so the winning bid is cash on collection as you emphasis. BUT I have heard nothing from the winning buyer 2 and a half days on. I immediately sent the invoice with the collection details after the auction finished - and I sent another invoice yesterday for good measure. But I have heard nothing as yet. How long do I have to give the buyer to contact me? What happens if I don't hear from him/her?

I sold another item that has been paid for and I have posted off, so at least one transaction seems to have gone smoothly...

you open an unpaid item case now, and close in 4 days to get your fees back. Then once closed you relist or do a second chance offer. And add them to your blocked bidder list too

Thanks again - though the buyer phoned to arrange collection about half an hour after i'd posted!
