Who won't drop kick parcels around - can anyone recommend one? Just sold some stuff on ebay and estimated postage at £5 but it's going to be £9 with Royal Mail.
Thanks!!

If it's under 10kg, use collect+ it costs a little under £5. Google their website, sorry on ipad can't link!

MyHermes is good - £4 odd if under 2kg plus proof of delivery - you don't have to pay extra for the signature.

Every courier gets slagged off; the cheap ones get slagged off more because they carry more parcels.

That said, I tend to avoid Myhermes or Collect+ if I am especially nervous. I am more worried about how badly their couriers are paid, I'm afraid item will get left on a doorstep in full view of many passerbys.

Better to pack it such that it can handle being kicked around (yes I am serious). I shipped a 1000 lb piano intercontinental without damage (okay that was luck, but it's true, too!). Shipped long with a lot of fine china, no damage. Tis possible.
