Ebay novice (seller - been buying for ages!) - been asked to add a Buy It Now price to my listing

And now there is a button so I can respond to the ebayer who asked - but I don't have anything to say! Tried reading up on website - got confused. I can't add buy it now, but I can end the listing early to sell to the highest biddder (But only for a valid reason???).

And I am lost on the 'tactics' side of this - my listing is for a maxi micro scooter for collection only and it doesn't end til Sun. Gut feeling is that I continue with the auction to get the best price. Help!!! TIA

just reply and say no and that you want the auction to run to the end.

You can add a buy it now by editing the listing, as long as there are no bids on it. But if you don't want to that is fine.

Just make sure cash only - never paypal for a collected item.

Can I change the payment option on the listing then? There are no bids on my item yet. Thanks

you just write in the description - cash on collection please, you can't delete the paypal option, but if they do pay by paypal you refund them and ask for cash when they collect. And don't let a buyer arrange their own courier either, if anyone asks.
