Advice please - missing part

I bought a wooden double deb frame on ebay, hand made in a small workshop.
It arrived ok and the bed looks good but the packaging was terrible - it had ripped and all the nuts and bolts were loose inside, not separately wrapped, and one of the bolts is missing, clearly having fallen out of the torn packaging in transit (courier van).
I contacted the seller who apologised and said he would put another bolt in the post. Nothing arrived. Contacted him again, and again he said he would send one and nothing. I can't put the bed together without it.
I do not want to return the bed, just need the missing bolt!
Help, what should I do? Thanks.

open a not as described case and ask for partial refund to buy a bolt yourself?

and you can of course leave appropriate fb and low stars, maybe a neg will make him send you the bolt. You can always withdraw a neg at a later date if the problem has since been resolved.

Thanks Sandy. I have considered just buying the bolt myself, but it seems to be a non- standard size; I had a look in a couple of shops selling bolts etc and couldn't see one like it, so it might be a hassle to find another.

Should I email him again and threaten negative feedback if I don't get a bolt in the post in the next week? Need to get this blooming bed up next weekend for visitors arriving soon.

I would just neg now and go try find a bolt elsewhere - loads of bolt sellers on ebay, am sure you can find a replacement.

Giving low stars is allowed but threatening to leave low stars is not allowed
