Found an item that I wanted as a christmas gift, listed at 99p, I have been only bidder for about 3 days, due to end Sat tea time. Went on to check just now to find I have no bids showing. confused, I searched for item, to find it relisted at £20, for 29 days! Can they do this without even informing me, is it legal? They have obv realised they underpriced, but surely they should decide that before allowing a bid to stand almost til close of auction! DH says complain to ebay, what will that achieve if anything?

I'm not too sure, but basically yes I think they can, cancel your bids, end listing & relist.
Thems the knocks...

Ha! They probably won't sell it with a starting bid of £20, but would have got more if they started it at 99p....

they obviously got scared. if it is worth much morr than 20 then no doubt would have got many people stealth bidding!
