Postage Costs - oops!

Hi - I sent 4 boxes of playmobil today that I had lovingly packaged up - only to find out all my profit went on postage! I would be really grateful for your postage tips. I sent 3 boxes 48 Parcelforce, they ended up being £12.92 each.....should I be packing in a smaller box?

I think the best tip is to do some research before you publish your listing!

Try my hermes or collect plus, they seem to be much cheaper than royal mail and the like and are still tracked/signed for.

£4.20 with My Hermes if under 2kg - how heavy were they?
