Send an adjusted invoice as well, showing the correct postage to EU.

I always get this wrong lol, but I think if you click to send invoice, then change the amount for postage from that which will be automatically entered, you need to click "preview" invoice for some reason, or it doesn't change it.

Try that!

I would send an email asking for the uk address which they want you to send the item to.
I wouldn't even consider sending it abroad.

SandyDilbert · 18/11/2013 10:20

you need to actually block buyers from abroad in future - just saying uk only won't stop them bidding.

Refund their payment in full - either send a new invoice with correct postage or send them a cancellation request to get your fees back.

Spencerpercival · 18/11/2013 13:23

Yeah you're right. I thought I had done it. Anyway I decided to suck it up and just posted it.

GhostsInSnow · 19/11/2013 10:02

Sandy I recently had 2 bidders from Austria myself, very annoying as my settings were all correct and it should have blocked their bids. It would appear that even though the 2 bidders were Austrian and lived there they had somehow registered a UK address, adding an additional Austrian address to Paypal and thats how they got around the blocks.

I've seen a few people say now that they have had Austrian bidders circumvent their settings and I wonder whether it's the done thing now to register a UK address to fool the system so blocking buyers properly isn't always infallible.

sharesinNivea · 19/11/2013 22:29

Send them an invoice by email and your bank details. Austrians and Germans prefer paying by bank transfer anyway and you'll save your Paypal fees.

Job done.

well they havent arrived at hers FGS

SandyDilbert · 27/11/2013 20:02

did you send with a signature? An item isn't considered lost for 15 working days/3 weeks. It has only been a week?

Bradsplit · 27/11/2013 22:48

Yup. No. Just posted. Tbh I'm almost past caring! Bloody Austria.
