Reselling items bought

Bought 2 dresses the other week for a party yesterday. Neither were suitable. Is it ok to re sell these so soon after buying?

yes of course it is - you own them so can do what you want.

Yes they are yours to do as you please with.

if your intention on buying was to sell on then that is business, but 2 dresses does not a business make, as you have indicated thy did not fit perfectly,

but deliberately buying anything in order to sell on is a business

however if you resell too much stuff HMRC might be interested but ebay could not care less so long as profits roll
