best cheap packaging

Hi. I need to start selling some stuff on ebay (clothes, shoes, necklaces etc) - all different sizes. What I'm looking for is a roll of that plastic stuff that they make envelopes in as I'm sure that would work out tons cheaper than buying the envelopes as I could cut out what I need and tape it up (like brown paper, but waterproof!) otherwise I'd need to buy packs of the envelopes in all different sizes.

Does anyone know if it exists? Can't find any online so far.

You can buy postage bags or padded envelopes from eBay in bulk, DH bought 100 padded envelopes recently and they cost him 7p per envelope

Thanks - must be having an especially dim day today as I didn't actually look on ebay!

grey plastic mailing packets vary from 5-8p depending on size buying a 100 is much cheaper per bag than 10
