I opened an unpaid item case and closed it four days later as no payment or communication was forthcoming.

I relisted the item but forgot to block the non-paying bidder; she's now bid on the item again and sent me a very apologetic email saying she was on holiday aren't they all and can we sort it out? I think she wants the unpaid item strike removed.

She has very good feedback and the item is of low value so I'm happy to take her at face value, but if nobody else bids she will get it for half the original price she won it for.

So- what are my options? Can I sell it to her for the original price and remove the strike or just see if she wins it again?

I would add her to my blocked bidder list now then that will cancel her bid. You can't remove the unpaid strike from before.

Ah, ok- thanks.

So if she wants the unpaid item strike removed will she have to go to ebay?

the buyer can appeal the strike

You could ask her if she would like to buy the item for what she won it for before. It could be a genuine cock up on her part esp if her feedback is ok.

SandyDilbert · 19/10/2013 12:26

The buyer won't have any neg if she has only bought items, so her feedback is a bit irrelevant really.

True enough about feedback...

I've offered her the item at its original price, and given her until the auction ends to contact me. If she declines or does not get in touch, I'll block her and her bid will be cancelled- very useful to know that, thank you, Sandy.
