Item in purchase history that I haven't bought

I was scrolling through my purchase history to see how much I paid for an item, when I noticed an iPad listed there that I hadn't bought! It was in July 2012.
The cost was over £500, and I definitely didn't pay for it, I would have noticed that amount coming out of my account! I wouldn't have even looked at it as I have an iPad bought earlier in 2012.
Seems a bit dodgy to me!
Can anyone offer an explanation?

Odd. I would contact ebay and check paypal. It might put your mind at rest. I would definitely find that strange and unsettling. Hope you get it sorted.

Do you have a teenager with access to your ebay account!!?!!

No I have 2 primary age children who would love an iPad but have no access to my eBay account!
Thanks, I will contact eBay.

Did you buy the original iPad in 2012 via eBay? Sometimes if a supplier marks payment received after the event it doesn't match up with the purchase date, maybe they were very late updating? See what your PayPal account says for the July date, although I'm sure you would have noticed £500 being taken out!

If you click on the options to the right of the item in Purchase History you can see View Order Details which will show purchase dates, delivery details etc.
