Bought an item off Facebook selling page on the
27th Sept via PayPal.
Item is yet to arrive - seller says it was posted Thurs 3rd Oct

Seller then ignores all my messages until today when I threaten to involve the police. I then get abuse. Finally was told that item was posted but she can't provide proof of postage.

I've already opened & escalated a paypal claim, what can I do now?

just wait - and Paypal will refund you in full. May take a week to 10 days - I wouldn't communicate with the seller any more. And if they are messages abusive keep copies of what they have written.

I think police was OTT why threaten police as first option rather than saying if no tracking info sent within 24 hours I shall raise a not received dispute with paypal
