Arghhhhhhhh f@&£ing myhermes!!

I am a regular eBay seller and have used myhermes quite a lot recently as I like the fact that they collect.... (And are cheaper than PO)

Never had a problem before.

Sold an item on Monday, set up collection for Tuesday. I was in all day but left the parcel outside where I usually do as normal..... Nothing!! I phoned them the next day and in their records the courier said that they tried to collect but I wasn't in!! They said my order would be 'actioned immediately" (If in the unlikely event the doorbell didn't work the dogs tell me as soon as the gate has been opened!)
Waiting in all day the next day..... Again nothing!!! Phoned just before 8 and the same thing. They said they would get one of their investigation team to phone me back.....nothing! Phoned this morning to get a refund. Asked to speak to a supervisor and conveniently they were all in a meeting.to top things off there has been NO records made of previous phone calls to them!
Fucking useless!

Can anyone recommend another cheap courier service that collects from the door?

You don't need to be in (which is why I liked using them) I used to leave the parcel outside hidden (where I told them) 4 phone calls later and cancellation of delivery.... 5 days late a courier turns up to collect the parcel!!!!! WTF?? I then received an email saying that I hadn't responded to their message so case closed! Um.... No message and 4 phone calls ... What exactly do they want?? Terrible!!
