Morning all

Never really experienced anything like this but I sold an item a good few weeks back. Sold for 17.00 plus 6.00 postage. It was sent 2nd class recorded so I could track the signature etc.

Any way time went on and on and the buyer didn't receive the item, it appeared to be lost in the big Royal Mail Bermuda Triangle. Royal Mail said that it appeared that the item was lost and that I could go through the claims process.

In the meantime the buyer received a full refund and left pos feedback. They were very understanding

Anyway out of curiosity I tracked it this morning and Royal Mail tried to deliver it yesterday, leaving a card etc.

What do I do now? Can I do anything? Can't I ask the buyer to return? Especially as they have accepted a refund

Thanks Smile

I would have thought buyer should either pay you, or return item (they have the choice).

Email them and ask - if they don't respond then open a dispute.

If they respond saying they have not received, then inform them you are getting RM to provide you with delivery information (and do this). If RM show they did deliver to correct address, then open dispute.

nothing you can do really - if the buyer signs for i you can't open dispute to get your money back. You will have had a refund anyway?

I had this last year, I posted out an item and it was delivered 2 years later!!! The buyer got in touch and I told him to keep it as I had already made a claim with RM and got my money back. Have you been refunded by RM? If so I would let it go.

what the ghost said.

if you have the comp from RM then job done.

Thanks all. Not gone through the RM claims process yet so I will try to talk to buyer first x
