Is this normal for PayPal?

I joined PayPal last month and have recently started selling. When I went to withdraw my money to my bank account it said it could take up to 72 hours to complete. 71 hours later it was completed and funds where in my bank instantly. Tonight I have withdrawn more money an it is also telling me it could take up to 72 hours to be sent to be cleared again. Why is this? Does it take this long for everyone?

I think it says this every time to cover their backs, ie weekend transactions however, mine go through instantly during the week. I haven't transferred from pp to bank at the weekend before. HTH

it is because you are new to paypal and not an established seller later it will be 2 hours or less, as a new seller paypal can actually hold your money for 21 days or until positive feedback received which ever is shortest so 72 hours is ok

I think you need 10 detailed feedback ( ie DSR not just positive comment at average of 4.6 or more) as a seller before it will move to 2 hours
