Selling a treadmill, worth waiting til Jan?

Hi all,

I have a decent (gym standard) but old treadmill to sell on ebay.
Just wanted to know whether you think it would be better to sell before christmas when prices seem to go up, or early Jan when everyone goes nuts for health kicks?

We're keeping hold of a cross trainer till Jan for that very reason

I asked for a treadmill for Xmas last year but we waited till Jan to buy it and got one half price in the sales. I think wait till Jan.

tricky one... if i were wanting / buying one as a present I would like it before. Teenagers can be ever so impatient !

Its a free listing weekend this weekend - why dont you set a price you'd be happy with and just try it ? Cosy you nothing and at least yo have your listing all ready.

I was wondering the same thing as I have an expensive gym standard rower which I bought last winter. As I want to get rid of it I've put it on ebay and I'm surprised at the number of watchers so far - and I've put it on at quite a high price (cash on collection of course!)
If it doesn't sell this time I'm just going to keep relisting on the free listing days - there's nothing to lose.
If you waited until January there would probably be loads listed and also bargains available in the sales
