I had a buyer who failed to pay. I sent 2 messages which he ignored so I eventually opened a UPI. He then paid last night (10 days after) and then sent me an email shortly after saying he thought the item said something else and he wanted a refund.

I refunded him immediately (a bit annoyed as the UPI case closed and I can no longer get back my fees)

This morning NEG feedback!!!!

I am sure this is not allowed! Any advice?

I would speak to live chat and tell them it was malicious bidding - he obvs paid so he could avoid an unpaid strike. They may give you your fees back and remove the neg. You can of course respond to the neg but do not be tempted to leave them a neg comment for feedback.

On live chat ask them to cancel the case so that you can get a refund of FVF, too.
