I've just given negative FB!

I'm unreasonably cross about this so I thought I'd have a rant. Last weekend I won an auction for a retro tea set. I've noticed that this type and age of chinaware never sells for much at all, unlike the porcelain vintage sets with roses on them, so although I won for just pennies I didn't get the bargain of the century which was destined to be a family heirloom but I liked it all the same. I placed a bid, won the auction and immediately paid the invoice including shipping.

It hadn't turned up so today I went to my PP page to remind myself of when I paid for it and see when the seller had dispatched it. I found that the seller had refunded me two days after I'd paid her. That was it. No pm, no email, no message on PP alongside the refund. Zilch.

It wasn't the refund that annoyed me, nor that I didn't get the item, nor even that it very much seems that the seller had refunded because of the amount it sold for, it was the lack of communication which got my goat so I've let rip on her feedback. It's the first time I've ever given negative FB and I feel oddly guilty about it. All the same I wish there was an "ill mannered seller" emoticon I could add to this post right now!

I don't blame you at all! Sellers are supposed to give a good level of customer service so if there was a reason why she couldn't post the item, eg it broke then she should have told you and apologised.
