Do the fvf's automatically get charged when an item sells or is it after payment is received? I sold a small item which is only £5 inc P&P but haven't received payment. I was thinking of just forgetting about it and leaving it in case the buyer is a pain and leaves bad feedback if I open a case for non payment. I was thinking it would be less of a problem to be out a small amount than deal with someone annoying or ruin my feedback over what is a small sum. They haven't responded to a couple of reminders. Just wanted to check when the fvfs are taken (I'm thinking it is when the item has sold regardless of whether you get paid) am I right in that? Thanks.

yes - which is why you need to open and close a npb case to get your fees back and give the buyer a strike. And once closed they can't leave any feedback either so you do need to do it.

Thanks, sent the buyer a final message to ask if they wanted to cancel and they paid straight away (within 15 mins!!) probably be a pain now.
