Cheapest postage for a medium size box?

I need to post two items and wondering what the cheapest way of doing this is, would like it trackable. I am selling ornaments and welsh blanket. Any ideas? Last time I took something to the post office and payed £12 for a small box. It's being posted within the UK only and would ideally like it deliverered 3-5 days. Thanks

Look at My Hermes or Collect + if under 2kg

Probably myHermes

I sent a full roll of fabric for £6 tracked with myHermes, post office quoted me £12

Royal Mail or doing a promotion starting today for next 2 weeks using their Drop+Go service that slightly undercuts MyHermes for some tariffs. Check T+C.

myhermes 4.20 for under 2kg

ah... but only £4.16 using the Drop-n-Go promotion for a medium sized parcel 2nd class (might need to keep under 1 kg weight, mind, check T+C). And RM usually more convenient.
