Courier for two very large parcels needed quickly

I need to send a stroller with all the bits. I sold on eBay. I didn't realise I had it for postage. I wanted it as a pick up item.

I now need to send two massive parcels. Most couriers say too large. Sigh.

ParcelForce 48, I suspect. They've taken huge items for me. But could cost you (£27+).
Could check Man With a Van services, too, how far away do they need to go?

Thank you. It needs to go from London to Wales so quite far sadly.

I have booked via Parcel Monkey. Not tried before so I hope they are good!

Been alright for me. Hope it all goes well.

Thanks Grin

That's really reassuring. Bit of an eBay novice so your advice was appreciated.

parcel monkey is fine

parcelforce large takes parcels upto 3metres in length

Sarah

Thanks. I didn't realise parcelforce did that. I know for next time.

parcelforce is not the cheapest but provided it is not a wardrobe they will take stuff you just have to watch weight they will not take more than 30-32kg as that is the legal limit one person can lift unaided

so heavy loads require 2 people in most cases heavier stuff needs a pallet

Who would you send a very large parcel with, Sarah, if not PForce? I can't find anyone cheaper. Supposedly Ebay have a deal with Parcelforce to send big items for £15 but the booking system didn't work recently (hour on the phone to customer service didn't get it fixed, either).

I've send a pushchair and other large parcels with SendItNow. They were cheaper than ParcelForce, but I think they use their vans or are a subsidiary.

it depends on dimensions of very large parcel upto 1.5metres in length and not too fat over 1.5 and you are struggling to find cheaper than parcelforce sometimes parcelforce is cheaper bought via parcel2go than on their own website as they have deals for spare space in vans; last time i saved £7 booking through parcel2go
