I've come back to eBay after a bit of a break. In 6 months I have sold 12 items. During that time...

I didn't receive payment on one item and had to raise a case with eBay.

I had a bit of an argy bargy with a buyer over the colour of a skirt which they insisted should have been blue when description said brown.

I received inappropriate questions from one potential buyer (pretending to be a teenage boy).

I haven't received payment for a second item and have a case raised with eBay.

and finally...

A buyer has asked if I will sell them a cash on collection item. I listed it yesterday and they are offering me the starting price to come and collect it today. They have zero feedback despite being on eBay since 2008. I have just blocked them.

In fact, I have now blocked five buyers in as many weeks.

Is this normal for eBay now?

Sadly seems to be. I've just had an arguement with someone who clearly sent me a different item to the on listed and shown in the pictures, and yet they have argued the whole time that I shouldn't have an issue with it, because no one else seemed to have minded!

Did you file Unpaid item Disputes with the non-payers? This is very important, more important than adding them to your BBL.

Why wouldn't you sell to the cash on collection buyer?

Women's clothes are the worst for argy-bargy.

Oh tell me about it! In the past couple of weeks I have had 5 non payers, 2 of them kicking off because I opened a case against them after 2 days. Erm... what's all that about? One of them is a nasty piece of work judging by her messages and I bet she leaves a neg. Seriously wonder why I bother.
